Your images never leave your device

All image tools on KitFern run entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. When you select or drop an image, it is read and processed locally on your device. Your images are never uploaded to our servers or to any third party, and we cannot see, store or access them. Processed files are created in your browser's memory and are discarded when you close or reload the page.

Information we collect

We do not require accounts and do not ask for personal information. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical data (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the service running.

Cookies and advertising

We currently do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We may display ads in the future to keep the tools free; if we do, this policy will be updated to describe the ad partners used, the cookies they set and how you can opt out, and we will ask for consent where required by law.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last changed.
